Pistachio shell carbon (or pistachio shell charcoal) is a type of activated carbon or industrial charcoal made from the hard shells of pistachios.
Because of its high porosity and strong adsorption capacity, it is widely used in various industrial and environmental applications.

⚙️ Production Process

1. Cleaning and washing the pistachio shells to remove impurities

2. Drying under controlled temperature

3. Carbonization (pyrolysis) at around 900°C in an oxygen-free environment

4. Optional chemical or steam activation to enhance porosity (for activated carbon)

5. Cooling and grinding to achieve the desired particle size
